This application is en example of integration of Spark-Hadoop framework for "Big data" into a standard J2EE web application. The application shows common functions such as map/reduce, using Spark cache, sorting, working with the hadoop file system, and a slightly advanced implementation of pagination. This application has no practical meaning. It is made just for show and to test the possibility of using Spark with the Glassfish server. You can try the application online.
In addition to the Spark and Hadoop, in the program were used such things as EJB, JSF+Primefaces and JSP(for error pages). |
